Albert Pocej was born in the City of Vilnius, Lithuania on May 15, 1974.
His passion for photography started in early childhood, but it didn’t become his main profession until later in life.
Albert received his education in the Polish language, he is accepted into the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. Albert, simultaneously, studies two distinct subjects: Biology and Physical Culture. He also decides to add to his curriculum philosophy, psychology and history of arts.
After graduating from the University Albert Pocej joins a prestigious firm. In spite of his very high position at the IT department of this firm, Albert leaves his post and at the age of 30 concentrates entirely on photography.
His mentors and professors were the best photographers of our time. In a relatively short period of time, Albert Pocej becomes one of the most renowned and accomplished photographers and teachers. He now has a large number of followers and students throughout Europe.
From 2012, Albert has worked and resided in Monaco. His billboards have become landmarks in the Principality of Monaco. Minimalism dominates Albert Pocej’s style, along with a geometric symmetry, subdued lighting and natural emotions and movement permeate his photographs. Each photo presents a cinematic picture, with masterful, yet graceful form.
